The organization operated between Morocco, Portugal and Spain, establishing maritime routes that allowed the supply of the entire European continent. The methods included the use of isolated locations for unloading and transfer operations of the merchandise.
The investigation exposed a complex international logistics scheme that exploited Portugal's geographical position to facilitate the transport of tonnes of drugs. The authorities managed to identify the dynamics of the network and its main participants through the accusation.
