IPMA: Updates and Meteorological Perspectives for the Future

The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) will hold on September 24 the "Blue Circular Innovation Event – From Aquaculture to Sustainable Food Solutions", an international event that brings together researchers, health professionals, industrialists and consumers to discuss innovation and sustainability in aquaculture and fisheries. The meeting will present the conclusions of the AQUAFISH0.0 project, addressing the valorization of underutilized fishery products, food safety, economic challenges and consumer acceptance. The program includes culinary demonstrations with rarely exploited species, virtual reality experiences on sustainable cooking and round tables on the future of aquaculture and underexplored marine resources. The event is free, with simultaneous translation, and available in-person and via streaming.
