Queerioca, the first reference LGBTQIAPN+ cultural center in Rio de Janeiro, moved to a historic three-story townhouse on Rua da Quitanda, in the city's Downtown, after operating at Arco do Teles since 2024. The new space, supported by the Reviver Centro project and the Municipal Secretary of Culture, will feature an exhibition room, bookstore, gastronomic area and a future cinema-theater, while still preserving a pole dance bar left behind by the previous nightclub. The venue will continue hosting ballrooms, voguing balls, music and cinema, expanding its structure and proposal to offer culture and welcome to the LGBTQIAPN+ population.
