Companies accelerate transformation, but only 14% stand out and achieve large-scale results

A global KPMG study reveals that, although companies are accelerating their transformation processes, only 14% stand out as leaders compared to their peers and less than a third achieve results at scale across the organization. Each company manages an average of 3.5 transformation programs simultaneously, with digital transformation leading in 70% of cases. The main challenge is no longer launching new initiatives but coordinating them, requiring alignment of investments in technology, people and processes toward the same objectives. Regarding artificial intelligence, 48% of organizations report incremental productivity gains, but only 11% report substantial impact at enterprise scale, and only 19% consider their employees highly prepared to work with AI.

Odivelas factory aims to have the largest urban mushroom production in Europe

In testing phase, BRT and VLT begin accepting cards in Rio de Janeiro; credit has a fee

The Gentileza Terminal, in the Central Region of Rio de Janeiro, began testing the payment of BRT and VLT fares with credit and debit cards directly at the turnstiles. The City Hall regulated the measure this Monday, defining rules for the future expansion of the service. On debit, the passenger pays the normal fare value; on credit, there is an additional charge of up to 30 cents per trip to cover operational costs. CBN reached out to the City Hall to clarify whether this charge conflicts with a 2022 municipal law that determines that the fare value with card must correspond to the current price.

Wall Street closes in negative territory after calls to halt AI development
