The comment comes in reaction to the measure to impose a tax on oil companies' extraordinary profits, which Pedro Santos Guerreiro considers will not "lead to anything." In his view, this measure is just a way to "pretend that the effort of this fuel price increase is being distributed."
The journalist and media manager emphasizes that the Government has multiple "weapons at its disposal" to combat the impact of the rising cost of living on citizens, but chooses not to use them effectively.
