The GNR detained six people in the Portalegre district during the week of September 7 to 13, as part of operations to prevent and combat violent crime and road traffic enforcement carried out by the Territorial Command.
The detentions were made by the Portalegre Territorial Command, which carried out crime prevention and combat actions, as well as road enforcement operations in the Alto Alentejo region.
The main causes for the detentions were illegal driving and alcohol, which motivated most of the cases recorded during the operations period.
