Allianz Brasil Has Portuguese Executive as New Marketing Superintendent

Eco15 September 2026 at 17:55

Allianz Brasil named Ana Quintela as the new Marketing Superintendent. The Portuguese executive reports directly to Maria Clara Ramos, Executive Director of Transformation, Strategy and Marketing at the company.

Ana Quintela has a career spanning Portugal and Brazil. She currently holds the position of Communication and Marketing Manager for Latin America at Allianz Commercial in São Paulo, a role she has held since August 2024. Previously, she was CMO and Head of Communication at Zurich in Lisbon and Head of Marketing and Communications at Zurich Brasil.

The new superintendent stated: "After a very special regional experience, I embrace a new challenge, turning my focus back to the Brazilian market."

This appointment occurs during the implementation of Allianz Brasil's transformation plan, which was initiated in 2024.

Why this matters

This appointment is relevant for professionals in the insurance and marketing sector in Brazil, as it signals Allianz Brasil's strategic direction in its transformation, bringing an executive with cross-country regional experience. The choice of a professional with a background in both Portugal and Brazil may indicate priorities for integration between Lusophone markets.
