Francisco César, leader of PS/Açores, considered that the school year started in a "lame" way in the region. His criticisms were directed at the way the Regional Executive managed the beginning of the school year.
The Azorean socialist leader pointed out three major problems. First, he reported the lack of maintenance of school infrastructure. Second, he criticized the absence of a response for the professionalization of teachers. Finally, he considered the resources made available to ensure school materials for students to be insufficient.
Francisco César presented these positions on behalf of the Socialist Party of the Azores, highlighting his opposition to the regional government's policies in the education sector.
