Benfica announced the renewal of its sponsorship agreement with sports equipment brand adidas, in a contract valued at 120 million euros. This agreement is considered the biggest in the history of Portuguese football in this type of commercial partnership.
As part of the agreement, the Seixal Training and Development Center, until now simply known as Benfica Campus, will now be called 'adidas Benfica Campus'. This change reflects the greater visibility that the German brand will have in the club's structure.
The contract establishes a long-term partnership between the two entities, strengthening a relationship that already existed between the Lisbon club and the sports equipment manufacturer. Adidas will continue to supply the equipment used by all of Benfica's teams.
This 120 million euro agreement represents a significant milestone for Portuguese football, establishing a new level in sports sponsorship values in the country.
