Starting this Tuesday, a new rule takes effect for heavy vehicles on the VCI, the Porto Inner Ring Road. During the period between 07:00 and 21:00, trucks are now prohibited from circulating on this road, which connects Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.
The measure establishes an important exception: heavy vehicles may continue to circulate during this period only for the purpose of supplying the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. This distinction aims to ensure the functioning of essential commercial and logistics activities in both cities.
