The fourth round of Série 1 of the Campeonato de Portugal was globally positive for the Trás-os-Montes teams. GD Bragança was the big highlight by beating Ponte da Barca 3-0, taking sole leadership of the standings. The Brigantina team made the best use of the round to consolidate their position at the top of the table.
Têxtimo Chaves also celebrated, with the club's B team achieving another victory this round. Montalegre, for its part, added another draw, remaining active in the competition, although unable to convert results into wins.
In the opposite direction, FC Vinhais continues without points in the competition, which represents a delicate situation for the team in the current phase of the championship. The round was, in general, favorable to Trás-os-Montes football, with three of the four teams from the region achieving positive results.
