Nautical Center at Azibo opens its doors to the public

The Nautical Center at Azibo, integrated into the Nautical Station of Macedo de Cavaleiros, has opened for the first time a regular programming open to the public, offering children, young people and adults the opportunity to try nautical activities such as sailing and kayaking. Collision leaves one dead and one seriously injured

A road traffic accident in Poiares, on Municipal Road 621 linking Freixo de Espada à Cinta, resulted in the death of an 83-year-old woman and serious injuries to her son, who was driving the light vehicle. The collision occurred against a truck parked on the roadside, and death was declared at the scene despite the efforts of rescue teams. The man was taken to Macedo de Cavaleiros Hospital. The alert was given at 08:15, with 30 operatives from the fire brigades of Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Torre de Moncorvo, GNR and an INEM air ambulance on scene.
